XOGEN® has spent $15 million to develop a patented Advanced Oxidation (AO) technology that has the potential to treat both municipal as well as industrial wastewater to a higher degree than conventional systems. It is a revolutionary wastewater treatment which has now been developed to the point where it is commercially viable with Generation 2 reactors in one major vertical of its applicable use: That is the reduction of ammonia in landfill leachate wastewater. To facilitate entry into this market Xogen signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with STT Enviro Corp. (STT) to form a Joint Venture (JV) whose purpose is to jointly market, develop, sell and operate leachate treatment systems that incorporate the Xogen technology.

MG cp Summary

Remove ammonium – The technology produces strong oxidative ions that oxidize and remove ammonium from landfill leachate wastewater.

Cost competitive – Xogen’s current treatment cost per gallon for Leachate is competitive with the most cost effective current treatments, but has installation (much smaller footprint) and other advantages.

Small Footprint Many current technologies require extensive footprint which is simply not practicable at many landfill and POTW sites.

Off Gas – Hydrogen – Some facilities gather the methane gas and power generators with it. The hydrogen off gas created by the Xogen process can be mixed with the methane and increase the power off take.

Modularized and scalable – The system is pre-engineered and modularized inside ISO container or on the top of flat-rack skid as a standard treatment unit. System can be scale up by adding units.

Remote monitoring and Completely automatic – The running of the system is automatic, an onsite operator is not required by the system which reduces OPEX.
