To assemble a portfolio of low-risk, high quality cash flowing commercial real estate assets around the US with the intention of distributing consistent quarterly cash-flows to our investors. This asset class has been targeted to gain exposure to the continued US economic recovery. While the residential real estate market in the US has partially recovered, many commercial real estate assets have yet to rebound.
Massimo Brutto – Co-Founder, Managing Partner & CFO
Massimo has 10 years of experience in real estate investment and property management. During his career, he has led the acquisition, repositioning and continual management of a residential real estate investment portfolio. Massimo consistently earns the confidence of investors by providing solid annual returns while focusing on capital preservation. From 2008 to early 2012, in addition to building a real estate investment portfolio, Massimo worked with a property preservation and management company that services foreclosed homes for major US financial institutions. Through this experience, Massimo developed a keen understanding of the current state of US housing. Massimo co-founded Whitetail Capital in early 2012 to invest in undervalued US housing.
Ryan Smith – Co-Founder, Managing Partner & COO
Ryan has been an avid real estate investor since 2004, with direct practical experience in acquiring, rehabbing, managing and disposing of multiple single-family rental real estate assets throughout Toronto. Ryan has recently exited these real estate investments, averaging over a 30% annualized return. Ryan has also been actively advising family and friends on both real estate and other public and private investments for over 10 years. Ryan has been keen on the US real estate market for several years and co-founded Whitetail Capital in early 2012 to take advantage of undervalued real estate and provide investors with alternative investment products.
